  • Practise past year O level oral exam ​in simulated oral setting and receive feedback

  • Understand oral techniques required to ace oral exam and common oral questions asked by examiners

  • Practise different topics in simulated oral setting and receive feedback

  • Hone critical thinking skills with mock debate

  • Receive notes on key oral topics

​Composition

  • Go through 材料文 or  议论文 framework and writing techniques to score well

  • Go through good phrases and common storylines used in narrative composition

  • Practise common topics and receive feedback on composition

  • Receive model compo on the common topics

  • Expand his/her vocabulary bank


Compre (Paper 2)

  • Guidance in comprehension passage analysis and reading with understanding

  • Learn techniques for clue-sourcing and answer precision in comprehension

  • Review of question types and strategies in comprehension

  • Grasp common vocab and idioms in close passage

  • Understand techniques required for Summary (片段缩写)

PSLE Oral, Compo and Compre Workshops

Oral

  • Understand oral techniques required to score in PSLE

    Practise different topics in simulated oral setting and receive feedback

  • Receive notes on different possible oral topics

Composition

  • Grasp the essential skills for composition writing: Analysing and talking through a picture composition （看图作文）

  • Receive notes on beautiful phrases (好词好句) and learn to apply these phrases in compositions

  • Expand his/her vocabulary bank

  • Learn the proper sentence structure and common grammatical errors

Comprehension

  • Guidance in passage analysis and reading with understanding

  • Review of question types and strategies

  • Learn techniques for clue-sourcing and answer precision
